Un petit aperçu de ce que vous pourrez découvrir lors de votre voyage !

According to tradition, Ngog litua is the rock from which the ancestors of the Bassa Bati and Mpoo peoples left to form separate tribes. But the temple's guardian will tell you the story of the place with far greater eloquence!

Situated in a more arid region than Edéa, you can appreciate the change in climate and vegetation, as well as the different farming habits.

At 80 metres high, these falls are particularly impressive. This is no doubt why the director of the film Greystoke chose them as Tarzan's home.

Access to the falls is via a short, easily accessible path. Depending on the season, the volume of the falls varies, making this site ever more impressive.

Now that's what we call a well-hidden treasure! The 2 lakes, male (the small one) and female (the large one), are former volcanoes that nature now offers to our view in a remarkable setting.

To get there, you can take a 4x4, walk through the villages or ride a horse. And why not ride out and walk back? Either way, the ride is a delightful experience.

MOUNT MANENGOUMBA

In Foumban, you'll discover a part of Bamoun culture with a visit to the Sultanate chieftaincy. You'll see some marvels and learn the extraordinary story of the king who invented his own alphabet.

At the market, you won't be able to resist the temptation to bring back a wooden or metal object, the secret of which lies in the hands of local craftsmen.

Douala continues to grow. On the modern side, you'll find all the big brand names, but we'd rather take you on a journey to discover the Douala people and how their proud king fought against the German colonialists.

The river banks of the Wouri also offer a little peace and quiet in the midst of this great metropolis.

Edea is a quiet little town where you can sample local specialities, enjoy a good evening and shop at the market in a friendly atmosphere.

Situated on the banks of the Sanaga River, its waterfalls power a hydroelectric plant that has the good taste not to spoil the landscape!

Stroll along the banks of the Sanaga and take a pirogue from there.

Kribi is the number one holiday destination, and once you're there, you'll understand: beaches, coconut palms, hot water, a little paradise!

With its many restaurants and picturesque spots where you can sample fish and shellfish, Kribi is also the site of the Lobe Falls, one of the few waterfalls in the world to come from a river flowing directly into the sea.

It is in fact an archipelago of three islands where baby chimpanzees, whose parents have been killed by poachers, are taken in. You'll be delighted to be able to hold them in your arms or take them for a walk in the forest.

As for the older chimpanzees, already returned to the wild, it's a good idea to watch them from a little further away!

If we've borrowed its name, it's because this river is close to our hearts! The pirogue will allow you to discover part of it, as well as the fauna and birds that inhabit it. You can stop off on one of the islands or continue on to the wonderful sandbank at the end of the river.

KRIBI
MONKEYS ISLAND
THE SANAGA RIVER

Did you know that dried fish is an immense source of wealth for people living far from the ocean? In Yoyo, you can see the boats returning from fishing and learn how to smoke the fish. You'll also be able to swim in the ocean, as the beach is on a par with that of Kribi!

Of course we're fans of the Sanaga River, but the Nyong River is also worth a visit. It's called the Black River, and you'll understand why. These waterfalls aren't quite up to Ekom's standards, but the site is magnificent and provides an opportunity to cross banana plantations: plantain or sweet banana? Can you tell the difference?

Falling asleep to the sound of crickets, as if you were in the jungle, is an experience you won't forget! In mango season (February/March), you can pick one in the garden for breakfast, if the village children haven't already done so! And if you can't give up your morning jog between palm and banana trees, how about it?
