Healthcare access
The difficulty of getting access to healthcare
Access to healthcare in the villages is a major challenge. The low incomes of rural dwellers, coupled with the difficulty of accessing safe transport, result in a very low rate of use of urban medical facilities. This situation leads to the aggravation of even the most benign illnesses, which could have been treated if they had been caught in time.
Our actions
In the villages that participate in the recycling collection program, we would like to organize care campaigns as an incentive for waste management. These campaigns are run by health professionals and volunteers. Depending on the funds we have available, they can cover general medicine and the distribution of medicines, ophthalmology and the provision of corrective glasses, dental care and minor surgery.
